Ty is a Director and Solution Engineer for Accordion’s Revenue & Sales Management (Salesforce) team, with over a decade of experience in helping clients solve complex CRM and Quote-to-Cash problems.
Ty began his Quote-to-Cash journey in solution delivery, helping clients implement Salesforce CPQ and Billing as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, Implementation Consultant, and Solution Architect. He brings this delivery mindset to his role at Accordion, where he engages in pre-sale conversations to uncover customer pain points, conduct initial discovery, and ultimately develop an engagement approach that will result in client success.
Throughout his career, Ty has worked with several different businesses, from start-ups to large enterprise companies. He loves the variation and diverse nature of his work – having industry experience ranging from SaaS, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Service, and Media/Ad Technology. Ty has engaged with many customers to help them solve complex business issues, such as: product catalog restructure, introduction of new pricing and selling models, discounting and approval management, contract lifecycle management, recurring and consumption billing, ERP integrations, and data migrations.
Ty believes that lifelong learning is the key to a strong career, and continually works to educate himself on emerging business trends, such as AI’s application to Quote-to-Cash, to ensure he can help his clients now and into the future.
Ty graduated from the University of Montana with a B.S. in Management Information Systems.
