Mayci Cheng

Mayci Cheng

Mayci is a Managing Director with nearly two decades of experience partnering with CFO organizations to drive value through finance process improvement, automation optimization, and operating model transformation. She has advised clients in a variety of sectors including Technology, Financial Services, Media & Entertainment, and Consumer Products.

Prior to joining Accordion, Mayci served in consulting roles at PwC, EY, and Deloitte to help clients improve operational effectiveness and efficiency in finance and accounting functions. She has led F&A teams across the transformation lifecycle: vision setting, capability assessments and roadmap, process improvement in record-to-report, procure-to-pay, quote-to-cash, and financial system implementations. She has also assisted with M&A integration and separation to build out Day-One Playbooks, organization structure design, and transition plans.

More recently, Mayci has been helping companies adopt and operationalize new accounting standards in revenue recognition and leasing. Contributions include helping to translate technical accounting policy into sustainable business processes, controls, and systems to ensure compliance.

Mayci started her career working in financial services where, in addition to building financial forecasts and budgets at AAA Insurance, she mined data to generate analytic insights for marketing strategy at Franklin Templeton, a global asset management firm.

Mayci graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in International Economics and holds an MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business.
