Brian McCune

Brian is a Director in the Technology Practice with over two decades of experience in enterprise IT systems consulting and implementation. He’s worked with clients ranging in size from small startups to large government agencies and multinational companies. Brian specializes in helping our clients successfully navigate enterprise system deployments.

With Accordion, Brian partners with our clients to mitigate risk and to understand what it takes to navigate systems deployments successfully.  Brian has helped hundreds of clients solve problems surrounding the modernization and adoption of systems, including Human Resources, Enterprise Resource Planning, Supply Chain, Enterprise Performance Management, Analytics, Infrastructure and platform modernization.

Before joining Accordion, Brian founded an IT consultancy focused on delivering value to the Department of Defense.  He went on to serve as a Civil Servant for the U.S. Navy. He made a name for himself through hard work and took on many successful project leadership roles at the Navy before taking a position with a mid-sized systems integrator. Brian has earned experience in several industries, including healthcare, the public sector, intelligence, defense, software, and professional services.

Brian began on the technical side of professional services as an Oracle Database Administrator. He swiftly worked his way into various project management and leadership roles before striking out on his own to start his consultancy. In addition to having a technical background in Oracle, Brian led multi-year global Sarbanes Oxley IT compliance projects for a prominent internal audit practice.

From early in his career, he has approached customer problem-solving with a curious and entrepreneurial mindset.

Brian graduated from John Carroll University with a B.S. in Business Administration and has continued his learning journey with post-graduate work at Harvard Business School.
