Frank Shaw

Frank is Solution Lead with over 15 years of experience designing, implementing, and delivering solutions across a variety of industries using Oracle EPM technologies, data integrations, and automation scripting.

Prior to joining Accordion, Frank worked with a large variety of businesses and clients to help design, implement, and deliver forecasting, budgeting, and reporting solutions. His role on projects has covered a broad range of roles. In addition to the core skillset of implementing Oracle Planning and Essbase applications, he has also been involved in technical and functional designs, data integration, and process automations. His client experience includes working with healthcare, insurance, financial services, tourism, retail sales, entertainment, and banking companies.

Frank has used a variety of technologies in addition to his core competency of Planning and Essbase. He has developed robust Excel-based solutions that include VBA scripting, automation processes using PowerShell, data integration solutions using both Cloud Data Management and FDMEE.

For a large global financial services company, he implemented a constant currency application that provided analysis for local, functional, and reporting currencies to support reporting and provide visibility to how much of their variances were due to currency fluctuations. For a banking company, he was responsible for designing and implementing an actual, forecast, and budget solution for their income statement and balance sheet, that included balancing, intercompany allocations, account allocations, overhead allocations and workforce planning.

Frank graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Accounting.
