What You’ll Do

We are currently looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our lean Finance team.  He/she will support our finance function, working closely with our Accounting Coordinator and reporting directly to our Senior Director, Accounting Operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Journal entries, posting transactions, bill payment, invoicing, coding bank and credit card statement data, reconciling intercompany accounts and general reporting
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of NetSuite with internal billing records and tracking of client invoices
  • Coordinate processing of all accounts payable and management of vendor information
  • Reconcile and manage all bank deposits and cash receipts, including bi-weekly client follow-up and analysis of accounts receivable aging report
  • Support the accounting team in the preparation of internal monthly reporting as needed
  • Assist in semi-monthly payroll processing and reporting

Ideally, You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, OR sufficient degree in bookkeeping
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated experience as an accountant or bookkeeper
  • Demonstrated level of financial acumen commensurate with experience
  • Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups and Pivot Tables)
  • Strong ability to analyze financial data and financial statements
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels within the organization, peers and executives
  • Very strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills
  • High level attention to detail

  • Agile when it comes to new challenges and working in a fast-paced environment with exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills
