What You’ll Do
We are currently looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join our internal Finance team. This individual will support our finance function, working closely with our Accountants and reporting directly to our Senior Director, Accounting Operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Journal entries, posting transactions, bill payment, invoicing, coding bank and credit card statement data, reconciling intercompany accounts and general reporting
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of NetSuite with internal billing records and tracking of client invoices
- Assist in processing of accounts payable and management of vendor information
- Reconcile and manage all bank deposits and cash receipts, including bi-weekly client follow-up and analysis of accounts receivable aging report
- Support the accounting team in the preparation of internal monthly reporting as needed
This position must be based in our New York office and is a hybrid role. Candidates will need to be local to the area, with opportunities for remote work 2-3 days per week.
Ideally, You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, OR sufficient degree in bookkeeping
- 1-3 years of demonstrated experience as an accountant or bookkeeper
- Demonstrated level of financial acumen commensurate with experience
- Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups and Pivot Tables)
- Strong ability to analyze financial data and financial statements
- Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels within the organization, peers and executives
- Very strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills
- High level attention to detail

Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 + benefits + bonus
Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
