Tony Treccapelli

Tony Treccapelli

Tony is a Managing Director with 25+ years of technology consulting experience, including cloud strategy & execution, transaction strategy & execution, digital transformation, interim CIO / restructuring assignments, as well as cyber security due diligence.

Prior to joining Accordion, Tony helped lead and build the $100+ million annual revenue Deal Technology practice at EY Parthenon. He was also a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal and BearingPoint, and a Worldwide Partner at Arthur Andersen. He began his consulting career working in Andersen Consulting and helped build the Global Technology Consulting business at Arthur Andersen. There, he co-led the firm’s Global Technology Integration practice, co-founded its Architected Solutions Methodology, and led the CRM team in North America. He was also a member of Andersen’s North American Leadership team for the Business Consulting unit.

Tony has been responsible for delivering technology strategy & execution services in several industries including wealth management, banking, insurance, life sciences, energy, and manufacturing. A sample of his private equity clients include Apollo Global Management, Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe, Centerbridge Partners, H.I.G. Capital, and GTCR.

His experience includes leading the design and delivery of a drug safety data warehouse and data analytics engine for Pfizer, and leading the strategy, architecture, and implementation of a shared services center for Omnicom. He has also served as interim CIO for businesses going through corporate restructurings.

Tony’s transaction assignments include leading the global IT divestiture services for all of GE Capital, the carve-out stand-up for Brighthouse Financial from MetLife, the TSA negotiations for a buy-side merger integration for CIT Bank, the buy-side diligence for the Asset Management business of Deutsche Bank, the buy side carve out planning for OneMain Financial of Citigroup, the buy-side carve-out stand-up of Neuberger Berman from Barclay’s Capital / Lehman, and the sell-side divestiture planning and execution program for the Wealth Management businesses of The Hartford. Most recently, Tony has worked on the buy-side carve-out stand-up of Allspring Global Investments from Wells Fargo.

Tony has provided Technology thought leadership to a range of news media, including InformationWeek, Computerworld, and CIO.com. He has also promoted Technology service offerings to analysts such as Gartner Group, IDC, and Forrester. He has received professional development awards, including his mentoring, leadership, and team building.

Tony earned a B.A. in Accounting from Michigan State University. He was a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) early in his career.
