Michelle is a Managing Director with experience in driving sponsor-coverage efforts and leading the firm’s private equity relationship management initiatives.
Prior to joining Accordion in early 2013, Michelle spent over 10 years in business development roles within financial services. She was a Senior Vice President at The Ambrose Group, an outsourced HR platform that partners with boutique professional firms, where her clients were private equity firms, hedge funds, family offices, and other investment managers. Previously, she managed business development efforts at Stax Inc., a management consulting firm focused on strategic consulting services for private equity firms and the management teams of their middle market portfolio companies. She started her career in sales at Bloomberg L.P.
An avid networker, Michelle has a particular passion for bringing women dealmakers together. After serving almost 10 years on the board of ACG NY and founding/chairing their Women of Leadership Committee, she co-founded Exponent Women in collaboration with women across the finance spectrum to further expand the opportunity set for connecting women in finance.
Michelle graduated from The University of Michigan with a B.A. in Organizational Management. When Michelle isn’t connecting great people, you can find her running, cooking up quick vegetarian meals, or recharging in the British Virgin Islands. She and her husband live in Southeast Florida with their two children.
