Matt is a Managing Director with over two decades of experience as a highly credible and accomplished business development leader with proven track record of delivering value to Private Equity sponsors and their respective portfolio companies. He has sold and managed the execution of large, complex solutions focused on value creation and helping sponsors extract value from their portfolio companies. Beyond his years in serving the PE industry, Matt has extensive experience in broader financial services, including banking & capital markets, wealth & asset management, and insurance.
Prior to joining Accordion, Matt served as a Partner in the Private Equity Services sector of CFGI where he drove the firm’s PE strategy and worked with large sponsors within their respective funds and with deal teams to provide accounting and finance resources and solutions.
Before this, he was a Director at EY for over 7 years and served in a variety of roles – including managing the global business development efforts of the largest PE client of the firm. Prior to that, he led the firm’s go-to-market strategy on how best to execute in Emerging Markets.
Matt also served as Vice President, Americas at Frontier Strategy Group, Director at PwC and a Global Director at Gartner.
