Kevin is a Director with over 20 years of experience in finance with a progressive accounting and financial management background. He has worked with multiple operating divisions and private equity sponsors, and has strong management and technical skills including global controllership, information technology, treasury, organizational development and mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining Accordion, Kevin held controllership and finance leadership positions in the manufacturing and licensing industries. Most recently, he was the Assistant Controller for Crane Co., a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products. In this role, he standardized several processes including the monthly close, forecast and planning cycles, and led the accounting for significant transactions including three acquisitions and two dispositions. In addition, he also oversaw the accounting related to legal entity reorganizations and assisted in establishing the financial reporting basis of companies to be spun off.
Prior to Crane Co. Kevin was the VP, Finance at Sequential Brands, a publicly traded licensing company, where he was responsible for internal and external reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and revenue recognition. He also established a formal reporting process to aid senior management in understanding business trends leading to improved decision making.
Kevin started his career in public accounting where he provided financial assurance services across a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, governmental, and non-profit organizations.
Kevin graduated from Pace University with a B.S. in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
