John is a Vice President with nearly a decade of accounting, auditing, finance, and project management experience. A majority of this experience has been spent serving Fortune 100 multi-national corporations, as well as a variety of size portfolio companies backed by marquee private equity firms. With Accordion, John partners with management teams and key stakeholders to drive transformative change through Finance and Digital Transformation, and Profitability and Working Capital Improvement.
Before joining Accordion, John started his career with Ernst and Young’s audit service line where he excelled in contributing to and leading high-performing transformative engagement teams. These teams served companies ranging from multi-national Fortune 100 companies, newly public emerging growth companies, to rapidly growing and acquisitive private equity backed companies. John additionally participated in a rotation in the firms Professional Practice Quality and Regulatory Matters (PPQRM) group in which he was responsible for leading internal quality inspections as well as assisting audit teams undergoing PCAOB inspection.
In his time at EY, John specialized in the design and oversight of his teams’ execution of procedures surrounding the client’s operating and financial reporting processes; spearheading annual efforts with key management stakeholders to design and implement improvements. John also specialized in the design and oversight of the execution of workstreams pertaining to significant nonrecurring and unusual transactions. John leverages this firsthand experience with top of class business processes to assist current and future client management teams achieve similar efficiencies and process automation and standardization.
John graduated from Florida State University with a Master’s in Accountancy, B.S. in Accounting and Finance, and a Minor in Entrepreneurship; and holds an active CPA license with the Florida Board of Accountancy.
