Gena is a Director in Corporate Systems Integration & Technology with over two decades of financial reporting and system implementation experience for companies ranging from Fortune 100 to small LLC’s. Her experience also includes working with private equity groups in the hospitality, distribution, MRO management, and aerospace industries with operations throughout North America.
Before joining Accordion, Gena worked at Vertex Aerospace, where she stood up a Power BI reporting system for actuals by department with budget comparison, with a short 60-day turn around from start to finish. She also implemented OneStream in less than 90 days with minimal resources and actual data automated from multiple sources, including SAP tables. Additionally, she focused on multiple reporting restructures and building platforms that made the reporting changes feasible with minimal additional efforts.
Prior to this, Gena spent over a decade working in cash management and acquisitions with Sonepar. She served as an integral member of all acquisition teams – providing due diligence and software implementations to Epicor Eclipse, transitioning companies such as Burmeister, ESCO Electric, and Treadway Electric.
Gena started her career in the hotel industry implementing Peoplesoft and the Oracle Opera software, and with Accordion, continues implementing her expertise in financial software solutions.
Gena holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Mississippi and a Master in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M.
