Corinne is a Director in Accordion’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice with more than four years of accounting experience in the greater Boston area.
Corinne began her career at Ernst & Young in a hybrid role serving both in the Commercial Audit and Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practices. She performed audit and assurance services in a variety of client industries with a focus in technology, retail, and medical device companies. Within the Audit practice, she performed integrated and non-integrated financial statement audits under U.S. GAAP, as well under IFRS for foreign component team engagements. Within the FAAS practice, she served on various projects including IPO readiness, ASC 606, 842 and IFRS 16 standard implementations, and financial statement preparation.
Corinne was most recently a Senior Technical Accountant at a privately held technology company delivering hosted IA applications for automating natural language communications for enterprise customer care. Her primary responsibilities included implementing new standards and regulations under U.S. GAAP and concluding on complex transactions through research and interpretation of authoritative literature. In addition, her projects included process improvement in the areas of the financial close, revenue operations reporting, and HR related accounting processes.
Corinne recently completed the Uniform CPA Examination in her efforts to be licensed with the Massachusetts Board of Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant. She received her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island and has a Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
