Ben is a Director with over 10 years of advisory experience. During his career, Ben has developed an expertise in providing solutions to clients who are seeking to gain insights into and optimize financial performance, as well as undergo transformative events such as mergers, acquisitions, and recapitalizations.

During his time at Accordion, Ben has partnered with private equity firms and their portfolio companies to enhance visibility into and improve financial performance. Most recently, he served as the Interim Head of FP&A for a middle market technology company where he led the annual budgeting process, managed board, management, & lender reporting, assessed the viability of various investment projects/acquisitions, monitored the achievement of acquisition synergies, and assisted in the development of a data cube for the company’s primary KPIs.

In prior engagements, he has helped management teams and sponsors enhance cash flow visibility and monitor working capital improvement initiatives through the development of robust 13-week cash flow forecasts. He has also coordinated across organizations to manage the cash forecasting process and reporting through personnel and management transitions. In addition, Ben has led the due diligence process for an accounts receivable securitization at a $1.0+ billion global manufacturing and technology company to provide an efficient source of liquidity and optimize the capital structure.

Prior to joining Accordion, Ben was a Vice President in the Middle Market and Large Corporate Underwriting group at PNC Bank, where he spent his career structuring and executing debt transactions for a wide range of borrowers. He supported management teams across several industries including building products, transportation & logistics, automotive, and textiles. In addition, Ben managed a portfolio of $1.0+ billion in debt commitments.

Ben graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati. He is also a graduate of Leadership Charlotte, Class 40.
