Ayla Queiroga

Ayla is a Managing Director with over a decade of experience in advisory, accounting, and transaction execution. She partners with C-Suite and other senior leaders to drive value through the finance function and has experience in a variety of sectors including Consumer Products, Manufacturing, Technology, Retail Services, Health Care, Financial Services, and Media.

With Accordion, Ayla partners with CFOs and Sponsors to diagnose, optimize, and streamline the finance function. Her work includes finance function leadership, treasury function enhancement and leadership, integration/carve out management, accounting process assessment, refinement and implementation, finance function development, system implementation execution, enabling technology solutions to streamline processes, and financial statement development. Across engagements, she works hand-in-hand with the senior management, finance and accounting, and private equity operations teams to bring a holistic approach to value creation.

Before joining Accordion, Ayla began her career in public accounting and then transitioned to roles within the office of the CFO and Controllership at various Private-Equity backed portfolio companies. She has led international finance teams in Europe, Africa and South America, streamlined several processes within the finance function, advised and partnered on business restructuring, and led numerous system implementations. Her prior experience spans the retail servicing industry where the company advised and partnered with private brands for retail and marketing as well as partnering with the VP of Finance in the Consumer Products Good industry.

Ayla has worked in various complex and time sensitive situations helping leadership improve process, functionality, and visibility. She has played interim leadership roles in newly merged or carved out organizations and led several efforts around cash forecast development and business projections. She also partnered with the VP of Finance in a past role to help plan, organize, and forecast a manufacturing and distribution center restructuring.

Ayla is a CPA who graduated with high honors from Quinnipiac University with both a B.S in Accounting and an M.B.A. with a Finance Focus. She recently earned her Doctorate degree in Business Administration specializing in Organizational Behavior with a focus on teamwork and team performance.
