Accordion, a private equity–focused financial and technology consulting firm, today announced 77 promotions across the firm as part of its 2026 year-end promotion cycle.
The promotions span Accordion’s practice areas and reflect the firm’s continued growth and investment in its people.
“These promotions recognize individuals whose impact and dedication truly bring our high-performance culture to life,” said Lindsay Gilliam, Chief People Officer. “Each person promoted has demonstrated a sustained commitment to excellence and exemplifies the leadership, culture, and values that define Accordion.”
Included in the announcement are several senior-level promotions to Managing Director and Executive Director.
Greg Chellgren, Managing Director, Strategic Finance
Greg is a proven leader in business development and revenue expansion, executing some of Accordion’s most complex client engagements while helping shape the culture and strategic direction of the Dallas office and the Strategic Finance practice. He consistently demonstrates the leadership and impact expected at the Managing Director level.
Mike Brown, Managing Director, Strategic Finance
Mike is a leader in Accordion’s Los Angeles office and has played a key role in expanding the firm’s healthcare expertise and Treasury solution. His promotion reflects the confidence the firm has in his leadership capabilities and the continued impact he brings to clients and teams.
Jared du Plooy, Managing Director, CFO Technology (ERP)
Jared has led much of Accordion’s NetSuite work in the manufacturing and product space, driving several of the firm’s most successful ERP engagements in 2025. He will continue to play a central role in advancing Accordion’s NetSuite alliance and CFO Technology strategy.
Zee Akbarali, Managing Director, CFO Technology (Digital Solutions)
Zee has been instrumental in advancing Accordion’s AI initiatives and AI-first digital solutions. His work has accelerated technology-enabled transformation for clients and represents a key area of strategic growth for the firm.
Alex MacPherson, Executive Director, Performance Improvement
Alex is a trusted subject matter expert in supply chain and exemplifies what Accordion expects of its Executive Directors. He led the development of the firm’s cloud analytics tool within SC&O and consistently demonstrates an owner’s mindset while building strong platforms and teams.
Gina Ciavarro, Managing Director, Business Operations
Gina has served as Accordion’s Chief Information Security Officer while leading infrastructure initiatives across the firm. She has redefined Accordion’s global network strategy, built a resilient and redundant environment, and established a best-in-class cybersecurity capability.
In addition to these senior promotions, Accordion promoted 71 additional team members across the firm. These promotions recognize individuals at all levels who continue to raise the bar for client service, collaboration, and execution.
