- Develop the Accountability Room and work with users on daily execution
- Work with management, supervisors, and production staff (direct and indirect) on the shop floor to train and deploy lean methodologies to maximize productivity, streamline flow, increase throughput
- Implement the visual factory and conduct point specific Kaizen events
- Review shop floor layout and cell design and provide recommendations
- Design operational metrics for daily accountability meeting
Improvement Roadmap
- Work with users, as well as supervisors and managers through continued daily management
- Drive knowledge transfer through training and working with users
- Develop the sequencing strategy to facilitate smooth and steady flow
- Implement cell design changes and shop floor enhancements; then work with managers on training process
- Optimize flow throughout the facilities, implement quick hit opportunities to streamline flow
- Drive and change the culture to one of an empowered lean problem-solving enterprise
