NEW YORK — July 19, 2023 — Accordion, the private equity-focused financial consulting and technology firm, has hired two Managing Directors in Q2: Andrew Hede (Turnaround & Restructuring) and Kristin Trahan Winford (Consulting Operations). These significant hires reflect changing market demands and strengthen support for current & future acquisitions — while cementing Accordion’s position as the go-to partner to the Office of the CFO.
Andrew Hede, based in New York City, is a Senior Managing Director and the Head of Accordion’s Turnaround & Restructuring Practice. He brings more than 25 years of financial and operational transformation and restructuring experience, with expertise advising clients in numerous formal and out-of-court restructurings. Most recently, Andrew was a Partner at McKinsey, where he led the firm’s U.S.-based corporate restructuring practice. Previous positions also include Senior Managing Director at EY, Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal, and Director at FTI Consulting. At Accordion, Andrew will support clients in distressed situations and lead the growth & expansion of Accordion’s Turnaround & Restructuring Group.
Kristin Trahan Winford, based in Dallas, is a Managing Director and Accordion’s International Operations Lead. She brings more than two decades of experience assisting professional services organizations in maximizing strategic operations; improving performance in financial, management, and technology-related areas; and building companies deemed “destination” employers within their industries. At Accordion, Kristin will oversee the overall execution of international operations; she will facilitate the implementation of corporate policies and procedures, manage merger integration, and ensure that all operations are conducted in an effective and efficient manner.
