NEW YORK — January 10, 2023 — Accordion, the private equity-focused financial consulting and technology firm, has made significant Q4 hires to reflect expanding market needs and Accordion’s role as the go-to partner to the Office of the CFO. These hires include four Managing Directors across various practice areas: Marc Glennon (Business Development), Jeff Goltara (Transformation), Faisal Jeddy (Operational & Technical Accounting), and Tony Treccapelli (CFO Technology).
Marc Glennon, based in Boston, brings more than two decades of experience working in financial and professional services. He specializes in business development and relationship management for clients across various industries. Before Accordion, Marc spent nearly 17 years at GLG in Client Services, Business Development, and BD Management roles, and most recently acted as Managing Director and Head of Private Equity Business Development. During his time at GLG, he managed many of the company’s largest global relationships, facilitated new business development, and drove product cross-sell opportunities. At Accordion, Marc will manage existing sponsor and portfolio company relationships while identifying new opportunities for growth across the Eastern Region.
Jeff Goltara, based in Los Angeles, will leverage over two decades of management consulting and business development experience serving finance executives. His expertise lies in Office of the CFO initiatives, including cash flow and working capital optimization, cost reduction, and M&A synergies. He has worked with clients in a variety of industries spanning the corporate lifecycle from earlier-stage and emerging growth to established Fortune 500 companies. Before Accordion, Jeff served as Managing Director at Connor Group, and prior to that, held roles at Ernst & Young (EY) and Alvarez & Marsal.
Faisal Jeddy, based in San Francisco, brings nearly thirty years of experience in advising and assisting high-performing global companies spanning various industries. An expert in complex areas of accounting and financial reporting, he has helped CFOs and other financial executives navigate public company readiness, M&A, the implementation of new accounting standards, and more. Prior to this role, Faisal was a Partner at BDO USA LLP and was the Practice Leader for BDO’s West Region for Accounting and Reporting Advisory Services. Prior to that, he was a Partner and Practice Leader for the Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Advisory Services Practice at a boutique advisory firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. At Accordion, Faisal will help lead the firm’s country-wide outreach to audit firms and other providers across service lines by building deep connections and cross-referrals.
Tony Treccapelli, based in New York City, will leverage more than twenty-five years of technology consulting and interim CIO experience with expertise in data & analytics, digital transformation, cloud strategy & execution, transaction planning & execution, and restructuring. Prior to Accordion, Tony led the Deal Technology Practice at EY Parthenon, and before that, served as a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal where he focused on technology transformation engagements for private equity and corporate clients. Tony began his consulting career at Arthur Andersen where he was promoted to Partner and Global Co-Leader of the Technology Integration Practice. At Accordion, he’ll help arm CFOs with the digital solutions necessary to implement business process recommendations and capitalize on value creation opportunities.
