Nicholas is an Associate with five years of experience in private equity, financial services, real estate, and public accounting.
Before joining Accordion, Nicholas was part of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at Revantage, a Blackstone Portfolio Company, where he led key initiatives in budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting. He utilized automation tools such as Power BI and Alteryx to streamline processes and improve data-driven decision-making. In this role, he frequently collaborated with department leaders and CFOs from Blackstone portfolio companies.
Prior to his work in FP&A, Nicholas was a critical member of the Corporate Finance team at Revantage, focusing on financial reporting and process improvement. He developed detailed accounts receivable trackers that enabled transparent and efficient management of outstanding invoices, facilitating better coordination between Revantage and the portfolio companies they supported.
Before his time at Revantage, Nicholas gained valuable accounting experience as a property accountant at Bradford Allen, where he managed monthly account reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end closings for a diverse commercial real estate portfolio.
Nicholas began his career at Cohen & Company as an auditor specializing in alternative investments, working with hedge funds, private equity funds, and other investment vehicles.
He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance and currently holds a CPA license in the state of Illinois.
