Justin Quan

Justin Quan

Justin is a Vice President with more than two decades of experience in finance transformation under the Office of the CFO and operational finance leadership roles in industry. His clientele has ranged from pre-IPO companies to the top public companies in the world. As a CPA, Justin has expertise covering process re-engineering and transformation leveraging technologies to automate processes, save costs, and improve data and insights.

Prior to joining Accordion, Justin spent the last eight years in management consulting where he helped finance leaders re-design future state finance processes, prepare for IPOs, integrate acquisitions, perform finance assessments and roadmaps, and evaluate organizations against benchmarks/metrics. Through his functional finance and accounting expertise, Justin has also supported organizations through a variety of technology and digital transformations for the finance function. He has been involved with most areas of finance, including R2R P2P, OTC, Treasury, Tax, FP&A, and reporting.

Before consulting, Justin worked in industry for over a decade in finance operational roles across FP&A, technical accounting, capital forecasting, and finance transformation. His most recent role before joining consulting was a leadership role managing the P&L for a $200M business unit with a team of five running the end-to-end finance processes from closing the books, reporting, and forecasting.

As a people management and project leader, Justin has led large teams domestically and internationally. His experiences span a variety of industries over the years, including technology and healthcare.

Justin holds an M.B.A. in Finance from UC Davis and B.A. in Business-Economics with Specialization in Computing from UCLA. He is also a California CPA and has held various other certifications in technology. He has co-authored articles and hosted discussions on automating the financial close and improving financial performance.
