Picture this...

You’re a software development company recently acquired by a PE firm, with plans to grow through rapid acquisitions. To successfully do so, your team needs to grow organically—and your sponsor needs help figuring out how to make it happen.

You turn to Accordion.

Your sponsor engages us to develop a scalable operating model that would support the quick assimilation of acquisitions and address organic growth needs. We do this in two phases:

  • Conduct a quick assessment to determine the barriers to both organic and inorganic growth through M&A.
  • Identify barriers including ad hoc long-term demand and resource planning with limited automation support, lack of scalable processes (procure-to-pay, record-to-report, order-to-cash), an aging and unscalable ERP (QuickBooks), and manual hire-to-retire processes.
  • Develop and execute an implementation plan based on the assessment.
  • Design a demand-resource balancing process to regularly predict demand, hire and allocate resources, and prevent lost sales; conduct an RFP-based S2P solution selection, configuration, and implementation; develop a reporting package that allows management to keep a pulse on the business, and replace the existing ERP with NetSuite.

Your value is enhanced.

You successfully develop a scalable platform ready to grow by M&A and convert lost sales. You are now equipped to leverage automation for HR and procurement processes (freeing up HR back-office support), have implemented processes to balance demand and resources effectively, and are streamlining financial operations through NetSuite.

Enhanced value:

You reap multiple benefits, including:

  • Organizational design
  • Business process optimization/ automation
  • Indirect spend management
  • Demand and resource planning
