You’re experiencing challenges with visibility into operational and financial results, due to primarily offline operational data sources across business segments and limited insight into variance drivers. Your new CFO and sponsor engage us to develop an operational data model reporting package. We:​

• Work closely with your newly hired finance leadership team and key stakeholders to understand key financial and operational KPIs and reporting requirements. ​
• Partner with your finance, IT, and operations team to assess existing data capture processes, currently produced reports, reporting granularity, and identify areas to enhance reporting capabilities.​
• Create an operational model, by defining data format, structure, and content; leveraging Microsoft Power Pivot and Power Query to create a relational database for analyzing large data assets; and establishing interactive dashboards with drill-down capabilities for stakeholders. ​
• Establish a monthly reporting package, including collaborating with stakeholders to create essential metric views; partnering with finance and IT teams to document data sources, owners, and availability timelines; and establishing and documenting a standardized updated process, automated with Adaptive Insights. ​
