Tiberius Vadan is a Managing Director with two decades of experience spanning a variety of sectors including more than 150 private equity and corporate acquisitions and divestitures, performance improvement and restructuring across many industries. His experience includes leading cross functional teams throughout the transaction lifecycle in midsize and large private and public companies.
Prior to Accordion, Tiberius was part of the leadership team restructuring IBM including multiple transactions and joint ventures globally, as well as management and market offerings, and partnerships restructuring.
In his partner role at KPMG, he led dozens of deals from diligence through execution, and served as a leader of the broader Separation, Integration, and Restructuring teams. He spun off or acquired companies for clients including KKR, Carlyle, TPG, and corporate leaders like General Motors, AIG, Metlife, MUFJ, Mitsubishi among others.
In his role as Senior Director at Alvarez and Marsal, he focused on the Private Equity sector with client facing officer roles in portfolio companies. Additionally, he built the A&M PE capabilities/methodologies, including performance improvement and transaction teams across their businesses.
His early career years were performing the same type of work for Morgan Stanley’s M&A Investment Banking team, and for Deloitte Consulting’s Strategy and Operations team.
He graduated from Harvard Business School with an MBA in Strategy and Finance, and received a Bachelors in Finance and Management Information Systems from Belmont University (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa).
