Scott Davis

Scott is a Senior Director with over 12 years of advisory, accounting and audit experience – working with clients of various sizes across multiple industries. He specializes in helping his clients navigate the capital markets journey, operationalizing their accounting processes, integrating accounting systems to support business-wide needs and advising on a variety of technical accounting matters.

With Accordion, Scott partners with PE-backed companies to manage the IPO process. This includes assessment and management of the IPO readiness plan and serving as the trusted advisor to the sponsor and management team and their third party providers.

Additionally, Scott partners with management to serve their IPO Readiness needs, including regulatory filings, financial statement uplift, technical & operational accounting support as well as audit readiness.

Prior to joining Accordion, Scott spent 5 years at CFGI, consulting clients in a wide range of industries. His areas of focus included technical accounting as well as accounting system design, implementation and project management. He has also served in various interim management roles including internal audit, accounting operations and systems.

Scott started his career at PwC, working with audit clients in asset management, biotech, higher education & healthcare. While at PwC, he also worked on the Federal Reserve Board mandated Independent Foreclosure Review.

Scott graduated summa cum laude from University of Massachusetts with a B.S. in Accounting and was the recipient of the Wall Street Journal Award.
