Sanjeev is a Senior Managing Director with over two decades of experience in corporate and operational finance, M&A, and strategic advisory. He focuses on the growth and development of our Strategic Finance Practice, managing client relationships, leading projects – and always on driving value creation for our clients. Sanjeev has also led numerous complex M&A and financing transactions for global corporations and private equity firms.
Since joining Accordion, Sanjeev has worked with private equity-backed CFOs and management teams to enhance strategic FP&A processes, performance visibility programs, business partnering, decision support, and analytics. With Accordion, his client engagements span a variety of sectors, including Consumer, SaaS, Technology, Industrials, and Business Services. Sanjeev has led initiatives for portfolio companies of Accordion’s key PE clients, including Bain Capital, Carlyle, Cerberus, Hellman & Friedman, General Atlantic, Thoma Bravo.
Prior to joining Accordion, Sanjeev spent more than a decade in Investment Banking, working with corporations and private equity firms focused in the Retail and Consumer space. He was previously an Executive Director at UBS in the Global Consumer Products and Retail Group. There, he led the execution of debt and equity offerings, M&A transactions, and strategic advisory engagements for a wide range of clients globally.
Sanjeev started his career at Wasserstein Perella & Co. where he gained extensive analytical and transaction experience in M&A, strategic advisory and restructuring.
Sanjeev graduated with honors from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Economics and Engineering Sciences.
