Samuel Green is a supply chain and operations leader with nearly seven years of experience driving performance improvement across complex, asset-intensive organizations. His expertise spans strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, inventory optimization, make-versus-buy analysis, and operational efficiency, with a focus on delivering measurable EBITDA impact.
Prior to joining Accordion, Sam worked as a consultant supporting Fortune 500 and private-equity-backed companies through end-to-end supply chain transformations. He led cross-functional initiatives across procurement, manufacturing operations, inventory management, and S&OP, partnering closely with executive leadership to stabilize operations, unlock cost savings, and improve working capital.
Sam brings deep experience across aerospace & defense, industrial manufacturing, oil & gas, and precision manufacturing. His work includes leading multi-million-dollar strategic sourcing programs, redesigning operating models, executing supplier consolidations, and building data-driven tools to support procurement analytics, spend categorization, and compliance tracking. He has also supported complex make-vs-buy decisions, reverse-engineering workflows, and supplier readiness assessments in highly regulated environments.
Earlier in his career, Sam worked as an aerospace engineer in defense manufacturing, supporting production, testing, supplier risk assessments, and root-cause corrective action initiatives. This technical foundation informs his execution-oriented approach and enables him to bridge engineering, financial, and commercial perspectives.
Sam holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University and has been recognized for his contributions to supply chain transformation and operational excellence.
