Ronan Sandford is a Senior Director in Accordion’s Strategic Finance division, bringing over 10 years of experience including over four years as an investor director at a UK mid-market private equity firm, sitting on several portfolio board companies, driving strategic and financial outcomes. Ronan has also worked for a global private credit firm with experience across a range of capital structures and industries.
At Accordion, Ronan works closely with private equity sponsors and portfolio company management teams across the UK and EMEA. Through his prior experience as a private equity investor, Ronan can apply the investor lens and has a thorough understanding of the connection of the finance function to value creation.
Ronan’s experience spans across performance improvement, strategic value creation, turnaround situations, cost reduction initiatives, M&A, and integrations.
Ronan is a Chartered Account (ACA) a CFA charterholder, holds a MSc. in Finance from University College Dublin, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Trinity College Dublin.
