Richard Palkhiwala

Richard Palkhiwala

Richard is an Associate with nearly six years of frontline investing experience spanning hedge funds, portfolio management, and private equity.

Prior to joining Accordion, Richard worked for Partners Group in London on a special project to assess value creation and corporate governance practices at private equity portfolio companies. Richard also co-authored a publicly available white paper on the subject with Steffen Meister, the long-term CEO and current Chairman of Partners Group, entitled ‘The Rise of Governance Correctness: How Public Markets Lost Entrepreneurial Ground to Private Equity.’

Before Partners Group, Richard spent four years at the hedge fund Amryta Capital LLP, part of the Parker Lloyd Group, in London. There he worked as a research analyst in infrastructure sector with a special focus on transport, and he managed a portfolio of equity linked structured products.

Richard acquired an MSc in Risk and Finance from the London School of Economics, where he concentrated on infrastructure finance, and an MA (Hons) in English from the University of St Andrews.
