Patrick is a Director with over 10 years of experience in financial modeling and reporting, cash flow forecasting, profit enhancement, interim management (VP of FP&A and Interim-Controller), debt advisory, sell-side advisory, accounting and auditing for both distressed and profitable companies.
Patrick has partnered with management teams to enhance profitability, stabilize liquidity, and improve visibility through reporting and forecasting. He has advised teams on how to manage working capital and ensure covenant compliance across a variety of debt structures. Additionally, he has focused on the identification, implementation and tracking of cost reduction initiatives.
Patrick provided 26-week project-level cash flow visibility to a $250M renewable solar energy construction client with complex data and fragmented data sources. Additionally, he was actively involved in the budgeting review process, identifying and presenting key assumptions, risks and opportunities to the Board for process improvement.
Patrick provided financial advisory to a $200M injection molding company. His work included determining the extent and timing of a projected liquidity shortfall, supporting the negotiation of an extended credit agreement, preparing a 26-week cash flow model, and establishing a cross-functional daily process to control working capital and liquidity. Patrick worked directly with the C-Suite management, lender group, and private equity sponsor.
Patrick provided financial advisory to a $100M personal care product contract manufacturer including managing liquidity and other working capital during a prolonged period of minimal liquidity while balancing operational needs and vendor relationship management (over 100 vendors across four facilities, totaling $20+ million of past-due AP). Patrick worked directly with C-Suite management and advised on on whether to file for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy or continue operating during a period of extreme distress.
In addition to profit and liquidity enhancement, Patrick has advised management teams as they navigate various levels of lender fatigue and insolvency. He has experience in placing or refinancing debt, liquidations, orderly wind-downs, receiverships, and other forms of both in court and out of court proceedings.
Prior to Accordion, Patrick served as Director at Silverman Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in management advisory, restructuring, insolvency support, and M&A advisory. He has experience in several industries including manufacturing, furniture rental, retail, and agriculture. He began his career in the Consumer and Industrial Market audit practice at KPMG where he focused on both public and private companies that were acquisitive in nature. He is a CPA in the state of Illinois.
