Patrick J. Watts is a Senior Director with over 20 years of experience designing, architecting, and delivering enterprise-scale data, analytics, and AI platforms. His expertise spans cloud engineering, data architecture, data engineering, advanced analytics, and AI/ML solutions, with a proven ability to align complex technical initiatives to business strategy and measurable outcomes.

Previously, Patrick served as CTO and SVP of Cloud Engineering at Icon Analytics, where he defined the firm’s technology vision, oversaw solution architecture and delivery, and acted as a trusted advisor to clients across multiple industries. In this role, he led high-performing engineering teams, partnered closely with leading technology vendors, and drove innovation across cloud, data, and AI initiatives. His work included large-scale data platform migrations, enterprise Databricks and Snowflake implementations, and the delivery of modern analytics and AI-driven solutions that enabled business growth, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Throughout his career, Patrick has held senior leadership and architect roles at organizations including Trianz Consulting, Kraft Heinz, Clarity Insights, and Accenture. He has led and delivered solutions across financial services, healthcare and life sciences, insurance, government, consumer products, telecommunications, media and entertainment, and manufacturing. His experience includes architecting multi-cloud platforms on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud; building modern data lake and lakehouse architectures; implementing real-time and batch data processing systems; and designing AI-powered applications leveraging platforms such as Vertex AI and Databricks. Patrick has also played a key role in building and scaling cloud engineering practices, mentoring technical teams, and supporting business development and pre-sales efforts.

Patrick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Physics from Augustana College. He continues to stay ahead of the evolving technology landscape by pursuing and maintaining certifications across Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Apache Spark. His background reflects a deep commitment to technical excellence, continuous learning, and delivering impactful, scalable solutions for clients.
