Nahiir is a Vice President with nearly 7 years of accounting, assurances, and advisory services with clients ranging from small startups to large multinational companies. Nahiir specializes in the revitalization of underperforming companies.
With Accordion, Nahiir has partnered with the management of private equity-backed companies to enhance liquidity, improve visibility, and ensure covenant compliance. Additionally, she has focused on the identification, implementation and tracking of cost reduction initiatives.
Before joining Accordion, Nahiir worked in the assurance service group at Marcum LLP. She has nearly 7 years of experience conducting and performing audits and reviews for both publicly traded and privately held companies in a variety of industries, including but not limited to: healthcare, aviation, manufacturing, distribution, cannabis, and professional services. Nahiir has been involved in all phases of the audit process, from planning and initial risk assessment to ensuring compliances with all state and federal laws to the preparation and review of financial statements and note disclosures. She also has experience with the technical research and interpretation of authoritative literature in relation to numerous client situations in order to ensure compliance with all standards and regulations – including U.S. GAAP. Nahiir was also an in-house training seminar instructor.
Nahiir graduated from the Florida International University with a Bachelor of Accounting and a Master of Accounting. Nahiir is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida.
