Mukesh Shah is a Managing Director and Head of Accordion’s CFO Technology practice with more than two decades of experience establishing and growing technology and data-focused services in the CFO and COO organization. Mukesh specializes in finance technology, strategy, integrated enterprise architecture, advanced analytics, and agentic process automations.
Mukesh partners with CFOs to drive growth for their companies by planning and executing their finance technology agenda, leveraging technology to enable intelligent automation, delivering financial operations insights, and building a finance function focused on collaborating with the organization. Mukesh’s expertise includes integrating finance systems across the organization, creating a single source of truth for data, empowering the finance team for current and future technology-led transformations, and developing technology roadmaps—including technology rationalization and cost transparency. Mukesh has worked with more than 25 private equity sponsors across industries, including technology, media, telecommunications, manufacturing, life sciences, financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Prior to joining Accordion, Mukesh served as Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting. Previously, he directed the growth of Grant Thornton’s Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bangalore, driving expansion across Advisory, Technology, Tax, and Audit functions. He began his career at Arthur Andersen and has also held roles at Grant Thornton and BearingPoint (KPMG Consulting).
Mukesh completed the Advanced Analytics program from the Indian Institute Management, Bangalore (IIMB), Technology Business Management (TBM) certification from TBM Council, and Project Management certification from PMI. Mukesh has an MBA from University of Scranton and a degree in Management Accounting and Economics from University of Mumbai, India. Mukesh is passionate about driving diversity in technology and serves on the Advisory Board for an EdTech startup.
