Michael is a Director in Accordion’s CFO Tech Services Practice with nearly 30 years of experience delivering transformational financial solutions through the enablement of technology. He specializes in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).
Before joining Accordion, Michael spent the better part of his career advising clients and overseeing the delivery of technology enabled financial solutions. In this capacity, he deployed solutions ranging from Financial Consolidation and Reporting, Planning/Forecasting, and Data Transformation — all in the context of empowering organizations to make both meaningful and actionable business decisions.
Being well versed in the unique informational needs of various industries including Health/Life Sciences, Financial Services, Education, Insurance, and Real Estate Investment Trust, Michael partners with organizations to realize business solutions through applying best-in-class technologies.
Michael assists clients with bridging the gap between IT and finance business strategies with associated implementation/program roadmaps. Consequently, by combining finance and accounting experience with his systems expertise, Michael successfully guides complex, multi-faceted organizations in the application of technology to address financial challenges and opportunities.
Having spent his entire career configuring technical solutions to meet his client’s business needs, Michael has functioned in every capacity: from Application Developer and Technical Solution Architect to Subject Matter Expert for complex implementation issues. This breadth of experience enables him to be as relevant in technical conversations as he is in functional/business process conversations. As a result, clients are assured the delivered solution strikes a balance between the organization’s functional needs and the ability to deliver, support, and scale the deployed system.
Michael graduated from Babson College with a B.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Management Information Systems.
