May is a CPA and an Associate within Accordion’s Strategic Finance practice, with over two years of experience in the financial services and consumer goods industries.
Before joining Accordion, May worked at a Private Equity-backed consumer goods company within its strategic finance division. There, she collaborated closely with the CFO on financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting, investor board reporting, and providing data-driven strategic financial insights to drive business growth and scale operations.
May began her career at Ernst & Young in the assurance division, where she provided auditing support for clients in the banking and capital markets sector. Her role involved testing internal controls and performing substantive testing procedures in accordance with GAAP standards.
May graduated with honors from NYU Stern School of Business with a B.S. in Business and a M.S. in Accounting. May is a Certified Public Accountant.
