Marina is a Vice President with nearly 2 decades of experience in corporate finance and strategy, M&A, due diligence, capital markets, and long-short investments.
Before joining Accordion, Marina worked for more than a decade in institutional investment management. First at a $100b long-only asset manager, and later at a $12b long-short hedge fund, Marina covered global Consumer and Industrial companies. She conducted in-depth fundamental equity research, performed extensive financial modeling and analytics, and regularly met with managements of companies under coverage to uncover profitable investment ideas.
Marina started her career at Citigroup Global Corporate and Investment bank advising Consumer, Transportation, and Industrial companies. She engaged in numerous equity and debt offerings, as well as advised companies on M&A and buy-out transactions.
Marina earned an MBA from Simon Graduate School of Business, University of Rochester, where she majored in Finance and Corporate Accounting. Marina graduated from T. Shevchenko Kiev National University with a BA in English and World Literature. Marina is a CFA charter holder.
