Marc is a Managing Director with over two decades of finance, strategy, advisory, interim management, and performance improvement experience at both middle market and large corporate companies. He specializes in assisting companies elevate their finance and treasury functions.
Before joining Accordion, Marc spent the last five years improving the corporate finance and treasury management of numerous clients through restructuring and performance improvement engagements. He served as an advisor and/or as an interim CFO to senior management and boards with a focus on working capital improvement, liquidity management, expense management, cash flow projections, and business plan development.
Prior to becoming a consultant, Marc spent 15 years working at middle market and large corporate retailers as a finance executive. He has experience leading operational finance, corporate FP&A, marketing finance, pricing, and real estate finance teams that reduced operating expenses, enhanced internal reporting, developed financial forecast and budgets, and created analytical tools that improved decision making around investments.
In addition to his deep retail experience, Marc has also advised companies within the consumer product, restaurant, agriculture, media, healthcare, and education industries.
He started his career at Comerica Bank where he was a commercial lender for middle market companies.
Marc received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and holds an M.B.A. from Purdue University with a focus in Finance and Strategy.
