Manuel is a Senior Director with more than a decade of comprehensive experience in business operations, corporate finance, and strategic and financial advisory services. Manuel has expertise in a wide array of industries including consumer, industrials, and business services.
Since joining Accordion, he has worked on a variety of projects including merger integration and operational process improvement, KPIs and reporting process development, budgeting and forecasting process design and implementation, and profitability analysis.
Prior to joining Accordion Manuel was an Associate with Houlihan Lokey where he advised private equity and public clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and financings. Notable transactions include the sale of retail store-focused Dunn-Edwards Corporation to Nippon, dormakaba’s acquisition of Mesker Openings Group, and XPV’s acquisition of Environmental Operating Solutions.
Prior to Houlihan Lokey, Manuel held several senior leadership positions in finance and operations at Siemens Corporation, where he led finance professional across multiple business units in North America. Manuel began his career in finance at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an equity research Analyst covering the energy sector.
Manuel earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Economics and high honors, from William Paterson University. He also holds an M.B.A. from NYU’s Stern School of Business, with concentrations in Finance and Strategy.
