Kerri Chiu is a Vice President with experience in guiding Sponsors and CFO organizations through transformation initiatives and executing complex M&A integration/separation.
Since joining Accordion, Kerri has driven value creation through Transaction Services and Finance operations for Sponsors and their portfolio companies, including H.I.G. Capital, The Carlyle Group, and Altaris Capital.
Kerri supports clients through the entire Carve-out lifecycle: from diligence and assessment, to post-sign planning, to post-close execution. She has stood up “greenfield” operations, including transition management through a Separation Management Office, negotiation and operationalization of Transition Services Agreements, and standup of overhead and enabling functions. Kerri is experienced in Finance function standup, and leads Process Improvement engagements for her clients to implement or re-engineer business and financial processes.
Prior to joining Accordion, Kerri was a consultant at Ernst & Young in the CFO Advisory practice based in San Francisco. During her time at EY, she supported CFO organizations through M&A integration, focused on reporting and data integration. She also assessed and advised companies looking to scale, mature, or reorganize their Finance functions.
Kerri graduated with High Honors from University of California, Santa Barbara with degrees in Economics and English. She is an Ambassador Board Member and Treasurer of World of Children, a child advocacy nonprofit.
