Kate is a Vice President with extensive experience in Financial Accounting and M&A financial due diligence, spanning a variety of industries including Life Sciences & Healthcare, Consumer Business, and Retail.
Prior to joining Accordion, Kate was an Advisory Manager at Deloitte in their M&A Transaction Services group. During her two years here, she specialized in the Life Sciences & Healthcare industry, including large pharmaceutical companies, healthcare payors, and healthcare providers. She provided both strategic clients and private equity clients with a thorough review of the target company’s financial position, including highlighting value areas and risks of the transaction.
Prior to joining Deloitte’s M&A Transaction Services group, she was an Audit Manager at Deloitte. She helped lead public audit engagements through a planned risk-based audit approach of the client’s entire accounting cycle. She assessed significant risk areas and performed technical research on complex accounting issues to ensure adherence with all standards and regulations, including U.S. GAAP.
Kate started her career in Deloitte’s Orange County, CA office with a strong, public company client base in the Consumer Business and Retail space. She then transferred to the New York office with both public and startup companies in the Healthcare space.
