Joseph Luke

Joseph Luke

Joseph is a Senior Director in Accordion’s Transaction Execution Practice with nearly two decades of experience executing buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions – both as an advisor and a corporate executive.

Prior to joining Accordion, Joseph was a Director in BDO’s Operational Value Creation practice where he assisted clients in multiple industries execute complex transactions. Specifically, he led operational integrations and divestitures while also developing standalone costs analyses and completing synergy assessments. Joseph was also instrumental in building the firm’s Divestiture Management Office service offering.

Joseph was also Vice President of Mergers, Acquisitions, and Integration at Graphic Packaging International, a Fortune 500 company producing sustainable packaging solutions. There, he had global responsibility for the integration of four transactions, including a complex carve-out with an enterprise value of $1.6 billion involving six manufacturing locations. He negotiated two complex transition services agreements (TSAs) and led a team that consistently exceeded synergy expectations ahead of schedule.

Before this, Joseph was a consultant at KPMG and Deloitte where he led and/or supported transactions with values up to $77 billion. His past clients have included multi-national companies in the life sciences, financial, technology, consumer products, and manufacturing industries. Joseph’s experience spans various stages of the M&A life cycle including due diligence, carve-out and integration planning, and post-close implementation.

Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oglethorpe University where he also serves on the Board of Trustees.
