John is a Vice President with nearly a decade of experience in M&A execution on both the consulting and corporate side. His experience includes advising a wide variety of companies on both buy and sell-side transactions. His specialties include integration & separation program management & governance, day 1/100 planning & execution, post-merger integration, carve-out and stranded cost analysis, TSA management, and operating model frameworks.
Prior to Accordion, John was a Manager of Integrations and Separations at Wolters Kluwer, where he led integrations and divestitures/carve-outs across all 4 divisions. He provided operational support – from diligence, Day-1 readiness, and planning to post-close optimization, operations standup, and integration plan management. John also developed and implemented integration and carve-out playbooks/templates and built the Wolters Kluwer M&A Training.
Before Wolters Kluwer, John worked at both EY and Deloitte where he advised clients on all aspects of M&A strategy and integration as well as separation execution. He also led financial close optimization projects, organizational transformations, and performance improvement initiatives. Significant transactions include Pfizer’s acquisition of Hospira and Johnson & Johnson’s divestiture of their Codman Neurosurgery business to Integra.
John holds a B.A. in Management from Pace University, Lubin School of Business.
