Jamy is a Managing Director in Accordion’s Turnaround & Restructuring Practice. She has 20 years of experience working with distressed companies both inside and outside of formal bankruptcy, including interim management in operations as well as financial advisory services to debtors, lenders, and other company stakeholders. Jamy specializes in assisting clients in analyzing and improving operational and financial performance, monitoring cash flows, developing and evaluating business and turnaround plans, and formulating successful restructuring strategies to enhance asset values for stakeholders.

Before Accordion, Jamy was a Managing Director at ToneyKorf Partners, where she served as the Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) for several healthcare clients, leading change initiatives and managing the leadership of various organizations.

In addition to her client roles, Jamy was also the Chief Operating Officer of ToneyKorf Partners and led the firm’s operations, including marketing, people experience, risk management, finance, accounting and reporting, and other administrative operations, for over nine years.

Jamy has a passion for helping her clients and has a long track record of success in helping drive transformational change. A sampling of some of Jamy’s recent client engagements:

  • Served as interim management to an acute care, not-for-profit community hospital that had been struggling financially and operationally for several years and was facing potential bankruptcy and closure. Immediately evaluated and implemented strategic options, including assisting in negotiations of the sale of substantially all of the assets to a large regional healthcare system. Managed the day-to-day operations, including preparing the organization for integration into the acquiring system. Post the transaction, Jamy led the wind-down of the legal entities, including the organization’s captive insurance company.
  • Served as interim management to a health system with multiple facilities in one of New York’s most underserved communities. Jamy worked alongside the CEO to improve the quality and safety of services, stabilize the operations and finances, improve labor and patient relations, and help define the strategy for the organization, including developing and leading a strategy preventing the bankruptcy and closure of a vital organization, separating from a parent company, and creating a new, three-hospital system.
  • Served as an advisor to a skilled nursing facility, at the request of its lender, to review and report on the organization’s business plan and financial health. Assisted in the development of the Financial and Operational Assessment for the Company and the Lender, with a significant focus on quality, safety, and operational metrics.

Jamy graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor, and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.
