Herb is a Managing Director of Accounting Operations with nearly two decades of experience spanning a variety of sectors, including: education, litigation support, and staffing. He is responsible for coordinating and reviewing the monthly close process as well as the generation of financial management reports. In addition, he is responsible for establishing and implementing internal control policies and procedures.

Prior to joining Accordion, Herb was the Director of Financial Reporting & Division Controller at Colibri Group and STC, where he created and produced various multi-subsidiary detailed financial reports, analysis, and executive summaries, as well as managed and produced the annual 3-year detailed budget for 8 separate business units. He also managed the accounting department at STC and formulated and implemented comprehensive collection plans – significantly reducing the company’s DSO.

Herb has been told that he has the “Heart of a Teacher” and takes the time to explain the reason behind any action or process as if it were a teaching moment.
