Gina Ciavarro

Gina is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and VP of Global Infrastructure for Accordion. With nearly 15 years of experience in information security consulting advisory, IT operations and infrastructure experience, Gina is responsible for ensuring the protection and privacy of Accordion internal and client data as well maintaining high performance networks and systems.

With Accordion, Gina has led the development and deployment of a globally integrated IT infrastructure and 24x7x365 security operations function with a focus on data security as well as compliance. Gina brings expertise from both a consulting lens as well as from the perspective as a practitioner to bring to bear solutions that meet the diverse needs of Accordion and its clients.

Before joining Accordion, Gina was the CISO at Interior Logic Group, a private-equity backed construction firm, where she spearheaded the development of the company’s cybersecurity department and led initiatives related to cybersecurity operations, compliance, and data privacy and protection. Prior to Interior Logic Group, at Ankura, Gina held dual roles as VP of Enterprise Applications and CISO. During this time, she successfully built and deployed a global information security program, ensuring compliance with industry and client-specific standards while supporting the firm’s growth through acquisitions. As VP of Enterprise Applications, Gina led the architecture and deployment of technology platforms that streamlined internal processes and improved business automation across the organization.

With a deep expertise in data protection and governance she has also served as a Senior Director in Ankura’s data governance and security advisory practices, partnering with multinational enterprises to solve complex data security challenges. Her earlier career includes a key role as Principal Data Loss Prevention Consultant at Symantec, where she developed and implemented data protection programs for Fortune 500 clients.
