Garrett Matthews

Garrett is a Senior Director with over two decades of operational transformation and performance improvement experience across a variety of industries (e.g., technology, energy, telecom, industrial) and with clients ranging from small startups to large multinational companies. He specializes in the delivery of accelerated financial and operational benefits through enterprise-wide performance improvements and the optimizing of key process or specific functional initiatives. Garrett is a well-established leader who is skilled at solving complex business challenges, and leading cross-functional teams to  key results (e.g., EBIT, Cost Savings / Avoidance, Margin Improvement, Cycle Time, Quality, Delivery).

Before joining Accordion, Garrett supported clients across a variety of strategic initiatives and performance improvement efforts covering Mergers, Acquisitions, Carve-outs, Due Diligence, Day 0 / 1 Integration, Process Optimization (Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, SIOP), New Product / Service Introduction, Procurement, Supply-Chain, as well as major solution deployments

Garrett has worked in a various interim operational roles to improve short-term financial or operational results, integrate acquisitions, and optimize key processes. He served as the VP of Transformation for a major distributor supporting two acquisitions, integrations as well as Director of P2P for a major energy company, and Project Lead for a multi-year next generation solution deployment.

His experience includes working with global companies with operations throughout Central America, Europe, and Asia. He has experience in a number of industries, including technology, energy, telecommunications, retail, solutions, manufacturing, distribution, transportation / logistics, and professional services.

Garrett graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Operations Management
