Deborah Luening

Deborah Luening

Deborah is a Vice President with three decades of experience, focusing on process transformation, SOX compliance, internal audit, and accounting operations.

Deborah has held leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries. She led the SOX compliance program at a leading government contractor for eight years, as well as audits and investigations throughout the U.S., Asia-Pacific, and South America at consumer products, energy, and financial services companies. Her operational experience includes providing oversight for revenue accounting, international accounting and consolidations, and forecasting. In conjunction with these roles, Deborah has managed software solution implementations, led process improvement and cost savings initiatives, and evaluated complex customer contracts, new products and services, and lease transactions to ensure correct application of accounting principles.

Before joining Accordion, Deborah was a consultant at RGP, specializing in post-acquisition integrations of accounting operations, system implementations, and SOX compliance.

Her industry experience includes hospitality, information technology, government contracting, consumer products, energy, and financial services. She began her career with PwC.

Deborah graduated with honors from St. John Fisher College with a B.S. in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner.
