Dan is a VP of Finance with nearly a decade of experience in private equity and investment banking. In his role, Dan leads Accordion’s FP&A function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, KPI dashboard development, financial reporting, cash flow management, and equity/debt capital structure. As a strategic partner to firm leadership, Dan and his team provide data-driven insights that guide key business initiatives and decisions, while also supporting the board of directors with recurring financial updates on the business.

Prior to Accordion, Dan was a Vice President at Trilantic North America (“Trilantic”), a NYC-based middle market private equity firm with over $11 billion of AUM. During his 6+ years at Trilantic, Dan was responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, executing control and significant minority investments, and driving value creation initiatives alongside management teams (including revenue forecasting, add-on M&A evaluation/execution, equity/debt capital raises, and sale processes). Dan was involved in Trilantic’s investments in Asset Living (real estate property management); Sunbelt Solomon (electrical power services); Taymax (scaled Planet Fitness franchisee); Sunrise Strategic Partners (food & beverage brand accelerator); Kodiak Cakes (better-for-you breakfast brand); Ingenovis Health (healthcare staffing); Rarebreed Veterinary Partners (scaled vet platform); and Strada Services (residential home services).

Dan started his finance career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Tech, Media & Telecom Group of Barclays, where he was responsible for executing sell-side and buy-side M&A as well as equity and debt capital raises.

Dan graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in Psychology.
