Carrie is a communications professional with over two decades of experience advising professional services firms on their content creation, thought leadership, and public relations strategies.

With Accordion, Carrie develops the firm’s approach to thought leadership with respect to private equity and the Office of the CFO. Additionally, she is focused on ensuring publication of Accordion-authored articles in leading trade and business publications.

Before joining Accordion, Carrie spent over two decades working in corporate communications. Most recently, she served as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Axiom, a leading provider of on-demand, high-caliber legal talent. She worked with Axiom since its early days as a challenger brand and start-up to help turn it into the leading alternative legal service provider and a recognized name in the legal industry.

Carrie also co-founded GK Communications, a boutique communications consultancy. There, she and her partner advised firms ranging from technology companies to satellite companies, to professional services firms on all aspects of their content creation and communications needs. Prior to her time at GK Communications, she worked for a number of nationally recognized PR and communications agencies.

Carrie is a natural storyteller and approaches her role in communications as such, leveraging different platforms and channels to better enhance the story of Accordion’s services and its executive’s expertise.

She started her career working in politics where she advised candidates, including a former House Minority Leader, on their campaign and communications strategies.

Carrie graduated from Washington University in St. Louis.
