Avery Kovler

Avery is a Senior Director with more than a decade of experience in Human Resources spanning a number of industries including investment banking, private equity and consulting.

Prior to Accordion, Avery was a global HR Project Manager for the Expert Consulting Track at BCG. Over the course of 4+ years, he helped to more than double the size of the track and scaled up a number of key HR processes. He contributed across a number of HR disciplines including learning and development, talent management, diversity, equity and inclusion and HR strategy.

Prior to BCG, Avery was at KKR where he served as a global HR Business Partner and strategic advisor to the Investing and Business Operations groups. While there, he also worked as a HR project manager focusing on a number of firm-wide initiatives including the creation of their inaugural MBA summer internship program.

Prior to KKR, Avery started his career at Barclays, where he successfully completed their Analyst rotational program. While at Barclays, Avery also served for several years as a HR Business Partner and later, was part of the Chief of Staff team supporting the Head of HR.

Avery holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.S. from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) at Cornell University.
